Visual Factory was founded in London in 1999 by two European producers:

Igor Sekulic (Young beautiful, The Corridors of Time) Sales agent since 1999 with 20 years experience in the movie industry. In depth knowledge of markets, film financing, distribution and strategies to promote a film. His background is marketing, finance, production (coproductions between UK, France and Germany). He has directed feature films and has supervised visual effects on movies for Disney, Pathe, Warner Bros... Sekulic is a member of Unifrance and of Film Export UK, working closely with the UK Film Council, the British government-backed agency for film and UK Trade and Industry (UKTI). Sekulic is an expert with Media the EU support programme for the European audiovisual industry and a professor of business and economics at the European University.		Jean-Marie Poire (The Visitors, Just Visiting) One of the most successful and respected film directors/producers in French cinema history. He has written 60 movies and directed 14, among which some of the most successful films in French history (Les Visiteurs, Le Pere Noël est une ordure...) some of which have been remade in the US (Just Visiting, Mixed Nuts with Steve Martin), member of Unifrance, the French Government Cinema export arm.

After having put several European co-productions together and having distributed our own movies in a large number of territories we decided to open the slate to independent filmmakers from around the world and especially European and British filmmakers.

We promote and license our producers' movies in major international markets such as AFM, Cannes, MIPTV, MIPCOM, MIFED, Berlin EFM, DISCOP... and connect them with our network of international distributors and TV channels.

We negotiate licensing contracts for the producers, collect and redistribute minima guaranteed (MG) and royalties.

We also promote our producers' films by touring festival premieres. Beyond the big ones (Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, Venice, San Sebastian, Locarno) each movie has a festival it can successfully premiere in. A good festival premiere will really launch an international campaign and feed the buzz around a movie.

Producers also benefit from our in house post production facilities (Avid, Shake, Maya, Combustion, 3D studio max).

Among our producers: Warner Bros Europe, Rai Cinema, and independents such as Keller Entertainment, Paradis, Avalanche Productions, AA Les films Belges, Aquarius etc...

SALES AGENT: We represent and have represented European movies with major cast attached (Monica Bellucci, Jean Reno, Francesca Neri, Terrence Howard, Matthew Modine, Laura Morante, Treat Williams, Daniel Auteuil, Christopher Lambert, Richard Bohringer, Jeremy Irons, Miki Manojlovic, Dita Von Teese, Paris Hilton, Simon Callow, Vivica Fox, Sylvester Stallone, Snoop Dogg ...) as well as independent European movies, mainly British, Italian and French, US independent movies and classics titles by star directors such as Dario Argento or Wes Craven
